To best leverage the synergies amongst its offerings and provide a stronger foundation for growth in business units underserved by their legacy ERP system, One Workplace launched Project Sprocket, a strategic business transformation project to bring various business units together into a scalable, cloud based solution, Oracle Cloud.

Challenges and Objectives:

In phase one, One Workplace subsidiaries, Pair and Vantis, goals included improving business processes and functionality by implementing Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle CPQ and create a Project Driven Supply Chain. This modernization initiative required adding systems that support productivity, efficiency, and growth to expand these organizations’ offerings beyond furniture.

Stakeholders came together to discuss planning upgrades and share research. The team found a significant opportunity to reevaluate and modernize existing business practices and systems to grow opportunities and revenue. After comparing Cloud solutions, Oracle Cloud stood out because of its out-of-the-box best practices, ability to consolidate business functions in one system, and access to reports and dashboards to make faster business decisions.
