Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant (Benefits, Absence and Time & Labor)

Location: Remote-US only
Travel: up to 25% Nationwide – US

Job Specification:
Candidates should have a successful track record working with the Oracle Cloud HCM in Benefits, Time and Labor & Absence Management modules. Candidates must be detail-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skill.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients to understand and document requirements as well as map requirements to standard Oracle Application functionality. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for identifying process improvement areas and developing future business process flows. Candidates should have prior Oracle Cloud HCM implementation consulting experience, with experience implementing Oracle Benefits, Absence Management and/or Time and Labor (OTL). Candidates will perform functional Oracle Cloud HCM implementations for clients. Candidate should have exposure to configure, and unit test the modules based on the customer’s Requirement.

Job description:
Responsibilities

  • Identify business requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud application functionality.
  • Identify functionality Fit and gaps and develop solutions to gaps
  • Drive Requirement workshops, Prototype, CRP and UAT sessions with the clients
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to keep the modules on track for a successful go live
  • Write Functional requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions
  • Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions.
  • Testing and validating various technical components for the issues and work them to resolutions and closure
  • Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts for all technical components and functional process and flows
  • Support clients with the execution of test scripts and resolve issues raised in various implementation phase
  • Develop end-user documentation and training materials for client users and administrators for use and maintenance for the Cloud HCM Solutions
  • Deliver and conduct end-user training and workshops
  • Provide status and issue reports to the Project Manager on a regular basis
  • Co-ordinate with the offshore functional and technical team as needed to for all project deliverables throughout the different phases of the implementation.

Skills

  • Experience with the business processes in Oracle Cloud HCM modules, particularly good knowledge on Oracle Cloud Benefits, Time and Labor & Absence Management.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud HCM applicable in Benefits, Absence and Time & Labor modules to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
  • Understanding of integration points between Cloud Time and Labor & Absence with each other and also other Oracle HCM Cloud modules (e.g. Payroll etc.).
  • Understanding of detailed OTL & Absence configuration flow and structure.
  • Ability to configure to all types of Absence plans including Accrual, Qualification, No Entitlement, Compensatory etc.
  • Knowledge on Work shifts, Work schedules, Scheduler profiles.
  • Expertise in Payroll and Project Time Cand configuration including Time Repository Rules.
  • Ability to configure Time Entry and Calculation Rules, Web Clock and Time Device Configuration etc.
  • Ability to review requirements and convert them into benefits compensation objects like Programs, Plan Types, Plans and Options
  • Ability to determine derived factors, eligibility profiles and other compensation objects required and configure them as needed
  • Ability to configure rates, coverages, life events, self-service pages including personalization’s and related rules based on the design discussions
  • Experience working with third party benefits, payroll and time administrators like ADP, Kronos, Benefix, Known2U is a plus
  • Experience with ACA reporting is a plus
  • Hands on experience in writing fast formulas, including time entry and time calculation and Absence Fast formulas is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on assignments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with at least 2 Oracle Cloud HCM implementations preferably in Benefits, Absence Management or Time & Labor
  • 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits, Absence Management and/or Time & Labor
    Certification(s) in Oracle Cloud HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Absence and/or Time and Labor would be preferred .

Compensation*:

  • California Pay Range: from $33.46 to $65.10 per hour; from $69,600 to $135,400 per annum
  • Colorado Pay Range: from $31.59 to $58.61 per hour; from $65,700 to $121,900 per annum
  • New York City Pay Range: from $31.59 to $61.88 per hour; from $65,700 to $128,700 per annum
  • Washington Pay Range: from $35.29 to $61.88 per hour; from $73,400 to $128,700 per annum

*The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; level of experience, training certifications; other business and organizational needs, and required travel, if applicable.
